Cash award, cash in lieu of land and annuity to the recipients of Gallantry decorations

Eligibility

  • Defence /Para military personnel belonging to Kerala who are recipients of Gallantry Decorations.

The eleven Gallantry Awards and amount admissible are shown below:-

How to apply

Application in prescribed form (Annexure I) in duplicate will be submitted to Zila Sainik Welfare Officer concerned along with:

Ř Attested copy of Gazette notification of the Government of India

Ř Copy of award certificate attested by a Gazette officer

Ř Original nativity certificate from Tahsildar to prove that the defense personnel belongs to Kerala.

Ř In the case of previous cash award recipient, a copy of Government Order by which they received cash award in previous case.

Zila Sainik Welfare Officer will forward the application along with required documents to the Director.  Director will forward the same to Government with his recommendation.

Note:In the case of serving personnel the application along with above documents are to be forwarded through concerned service Head Quarters.
