Grants for repair of dwelling huts

Amount admissible: Rs.5000/-

Eligibility:

• Ex-servicemen/widows whose annual income is below 30,000/- and are in exegencies to repair living huts.

How to apply

• Application in plain paper along with following documents will be submitted to Zila Sainik Welfare Officer.

Ø     Attested copy of Discharge Certificate

Ø     Income certificate

Ø     Attested copy of Identity card

Ø     Estimated cost of repair prepared by a licensed engineer.

Ø     Detailed enquiry report by revenue authority regarding ownership/location/condition of house.

Ø      receipt of house tax paid if any

Ø     A certificate regarding non-receipt of similar benefit from any other sources (Self declaration).

Zila Sainik Welfare Officer will forward the application to the Director, Directorate of sainik Welfare along with verification report.  Director in turn will sanction the amount. The grant will reach to the beneficiary through their respective Zila Sainik welfare Office.
