1 Merit Scholarships
Scholarships
are awarded to the Bright Students among the wards of Ex-Servicemen
from SSLC to Degree/Diploma/Post Graduate level. The rates are
as follows:-

2 Cash award to SSLC/CBSE/ICSE (10TH)
Top Scorer
A
Cash award of Rs.1000 is given to the top mark scorer of SSLC/ CBSE
/ ICSE(10th class) at district level among the wards
of Ex-Servicemen who scored a marks not less than 70%.

admissible: Rs.1000
Eligibility:
- Students
who scored 70% marks and above can apply.
- Amount
will be awarded to only one student (top scorer) in each district.

Scholarship to the children of Ex-Servicemen studying in Professional,
Technical and Vocational Courses
There
is a scheme to grant scholarship to the children of Ex-Servicemen
studying various Professional/Vocational/Technical Courses. Scholarship
amount ranging from Rs.1000 to Rs.7000/- is being given under the
scheme at different full time courses. Students aged above 25 are
not eligible for the scholarship. The Ex- Servicemen whose annual
income is up to Rs 50,000/-are eligible to apply.

Stipend to the children of Ex-Servicemen studying at Sainik School,
Kazhakoottam,
Children
of Ex-Servicemen studying at Sainik School, Kazhakootam, Kerala
are being paid a stipend of Rs.10,000 per student per annum. Annual
Income ceiling of parents is Rs.2 lakhs.

Financial Assistance to the Children of Ex-Servicemen undergoing
entrance oriented course
Children
of Ex-Servicemen will be given financial assistance of Rs.3000
per student for their entrance oriented coaching course for MBBS/
Engineering. Selection is based on academic excellence in SSLC
Examination. . (Income ceiling Rs 50,000/- .p.a.). Total 60 students
(30 for MBBS & 30 for Engg) are selected under the scheme annually.
